Little Rascal

The original "LITTLE RASCAL" was built in 1969,  it was a wheel motor drive, (5) bin capacity machine and 7 of the original 9 are still working today.  The machine you see here is the same frame design we started using in 1972 and it has basically remained unchanged.  This is a very popular (6)  bin machine with an axle drive,  diesel engine and hydraulic drive.  This is simply the most economically efficient machine in terms of the purchase price, yearly maintenance cost and ease of troubleshooting and field repairs.  This is the easiest bin carrier to learn to operate, the simplest to repair and the least expensive to maintain.

Testimonials
We own several makes of bin carriers but we have had the “LITTLE RASCAL” since the first day we started harvesting in 1971. There is nothing better for hauling bins, it is the fastest, easiest to learn and most dependable bin carrier we have ever owned.
— Eller Harvesting
Our “Little Rascal” was completely overhauled a few years ago by Orchard Carriers, new engine, valves, suspension, transmission and paint. It was bought new when I was in High School in 1974 and we are still using it today.

I have been harvesting for 45 years in prunes and pistachios from Chico to Lost Hills. We started with the “LITTLE RASCAL” bin carrier in the 1970’s and have not used anything since. We see all makes, brands and models but this is the most dependable, easiest to repair and easiest to troubleshoot of all the machines ever made by any manufacturer. I liked this machine so much that when I started to build my own harvester equipment this is the bin carrier I build for myself.
— Don Boyd
We operate 5 “LITTLE RASCALS” for our peach operations and love them, in fact we just traded in a 1972 model for a rebuilt 1995 model. We even have a 1969 Orchard Carriers “Little Rascal” that is an original hydraulic wheel motor bin carrier that has had no work done to it except a new John Deere engine a few years ago.
