Easy Rider

The "EASY RIDER" is a design that came about in a coffee shop.  I have a grower who wanted a better design that would take the driver out of the equation when it  came to reducing bruising of the fruit.  We drew up a design on a napkin and thought we were pretty close to what we both wanted.  We had the first one built as a proof of concept, we were close but had to go back to the drawing board to iron out the problems.  Today we have a "PATENT PENDING" design unequaled in the industry for relieving a growers concerns about bruising.  This is a wheel motor drive, full frame tilting and air ride bin carrier that is very fast, with a tight turning radius and all wheel drive.  There is nothing like it on the market today.  The "EASY RIDER"  is a very driver friendly bin carrier with easy to use controls with the hydraulic hoses arranged is such a way that hoses are not buried or hidden, making replacements an easy repair.

We grow cherries and apples and we depend on a reliable machine that can keep up with our harvesting demands. Bruising is a major concern for us and we asked for a machine that would solve some of the handling problems when we are transporting bins out of the orchard. OCI and I came up with an idea and we drew it up on a napkin in a coffee shop, then they built it. Wow, we could haul eggs with the “EASY RIDER”, what an amazing machine.

We have bought a variety of bin carriers over the years, some from Orchard Carriers and some from different manufacturers, some with wheel motors and some with axles. We love the machine that Orchard Carriers has been building for us these past few years. We have some of Orchard Carriers hydraulic wheel motor machines as well as the axle machines, both have their specific uses but the favorite is the 7B “EASY RIDER”, what a great concept. We have never seen anything as easy as this machine for handling large volumes of bins with significant decrease in bruising.
